I can't think of one single book that gives a good overview of Soviet engineering, but some good ones to start with might be Graham's The Ghost of the Executed Engineer, Gerovitch's From Newspeak to Cyberspeak, and Idov's Made in Russia: Unsung Icons of Soviet Design. I think most of the really interesting examples are in military technology, but unfortunately I don't know any good books surveying that area.…

If you're interested in the history then Ronald Kline's The Cybernetic Moment (John Hopkins, 2015) is the cannonical American history, and Slava Gerovitch's From Newspeak to Cyberspeak (MIT, 2002) is the Soviet. Eden Medina's Cybernetic Revolutionaries (MIT, 2002) covers its role in Allende's Chile, but compared to the US or Soviet this is marginal. The Cybernetic Hypothesis is a very…
控制论（Cybernetics）最终确实在苏联成了一门大热门。关于这段历史有一本很棒的记录：Slava Gerovitch 的《From Newspeak to Cyberspeak: A History of Soviet Cybernetics》（2002）。
Cybernetics did eventually become a hot fashion in the USSR. There is a good history of this, Slava Gerovitch's From Newspeak to Cyberspeak: A History of Soviet Cybernetics (2002).

给《Red Plenty》+1。这是一本神作。非虚构类的话，《From Newspeak to Cyberspeak: A History of Soviet Cybernetics》这本书也非常棒。
+1 for Red Plenty. It's a fantastic book. For nonfiction, the book "From Newspeak to Cyberspeak: A History of Soviet Cybernetics" is also excellent.
