如果你还没读过 Drew Curtis 写的《It's Not News, It's Fark: How Mass Media Tries to Pass Off Crap As News》[1]，我强烈推荐去读读，它把新闻的很多运作流程和思考方式讲得明明白白。
If you haven't read "It's Not News, It's Fark: How Mass Media Tries to Pass Off Crap As News"[1] by Drew Curtis, then I highly recommend it to explain quite a lot of the process and thinking of the news. It might not be the most serious, and it…
我觉得 Drew Curtis 写的《It's not news, it's FARK》是他生平最棒的作品了。http://www.fark.com/2007/book/
I think the book "It's not news, it's FARK" is the best thing that Drew Curtis has ever done. http://www.fark.com/2007/book/

《It's Not News, it's fark》：http://www.fark.com/2007/book/
It's Not News, it's fark: http://www.fark.com/2007/book/ Not like the book said anything original, but it has some truly hilarious examples taken from years for following silly stories.
在 Drew Curtis 的《It's Not News, It's Fark》一书中，他谈到媒体最喜欢做的事莫过于谈论媒体自己，因为这是它们最懂的行当。
In Drew Curtis's book It's Not News, It's Fark, he talks about how more than anything, the media loves talking about media, because they understand it the most. That means any huge story almost inevitably turns into reports of "Has the media gone…
……《The Woman Who Rides Like A Man》，一本我很有情怀的青少小说；《尤利西斯》，史上最伟大的小说；冯内古特的《2BRO2B》；莎士比亚全集；《神经漫游者》、《圣经》，还有《It's Not News, It's Fark》。
…The Woman Who Rides Like A Man, a young adult novel from an author I'm nostalgic for; Ulysses, the greatest novel of all time; 2BRO2B, by Vonnegut; the complete Shakespeare; Neuromancer, The Bible, and It's Not News, It's Fark. Over half of those books were completely free. Only one of those books has DRM, and - as I stated elsewhere - that DRM is already crackable. I could email you that book this afternoon and you could…
