I think this book is "Project Mars - A Technical Tale" by Werner von Braun. It's cheaper on eBay, but not much. If you get a chance, read it. It's clearly of it's time, technically, but it definitely shows you a vision of what might have…
PDF——http://www.wlym.com/archive/oakland/docs/MarsProject.pdf……
I confused things as there are two separate books with very similar titles by Braun, 'Project Mars' (ISBN - 0973820330) and 'The Mars Project' (ISBN - 0252062272). The first is sci-fi and the second is technical. Here's a pdf of Project Mars - http://www.wlym.com/archive/oakland/docs/MarsProject.pdf…
Did you know that Wernher von Braun wrote a novel called "Project Mars: A Technical Tale" [0] in which the title for the leader of the Martians was "Elon"? So when you read something like "Elon for Elon" somewhere, you can rather understand it as "Elon for [martian] president"…
Kind of an old school argument for behaving ethically. It does explain a few scenes in von Braun's book "Project Mars" where a main character drops to his knees and prays.
Check this out https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Mars:_A_Technical_Tale A novel written by Werner Von Braun. Set on Mars. The ruler of Mars is "The Elon".

So you are saying that Dr. Wernher von Braun's unpublished novel is still memorable: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Mars:_A_Technical_Tale...
