《The Arabian Nights》中的二十八篇故事，由 Husain Haddawy 根据现存最古老的阿拉伯文手稿翻译而成。很少有文学作品能像《The Arabian Nights》那样家喻户晓且深受喜爱，但同时也很少有作品仍像它这般不为人所真正了解。在英语语境中，《The Arabian Nights》是一部问世相对较晚的文学作品——故事的最初英文版本距今仅约两百年。这些故事配有序言、版本说明及详细的注解。
