《Classical Mechanics》

《Classical Mechanics》,John R. Taylor
Classical Mechanics, John R. Taylor Its pretty much the best textbook I've ever owned.
I love how everyone has their favorite Classical Mechanics text and how they are almost all very different, though Goldstein and Marion almost always top the lists. I learned from a less established text by Taylor: http://www.amazon.com/Classical-Mechanics-John-R-Taylor/dp/1...…
Taylor 的《Classical Mechanics》。
Classical Mechanics by Taylor Relearning mechanics from first principles is fun!
I worked through the entire core sequence over about 18 months, along with texts recommended by friends and on forums. In particular, Shankar's Quantum Mechanics, and Taylor's Classical Mechanics were great supplements to the first two courses. I recommend that approach because, while it is great to have the "theoretical minimum" delivered in lecture format, its also nice to have a more thorough…
即直接去看 Taylor 的《Classical Mechanics》和 Griffith 的《Introduction to Electrodynamics》。 我正在学习 Shankar 的《Principles of Quantum Mechanics》……
…what trick the author is using to go from one step to another in a solution. 2. If your mathematical preparation is good you can skip a lot of the introductory stuff. I.e. just go straight to Taylor's Classical Mechanics, and Griffith's Introduction to Electrodynamics. You can also learn QM from the graduate texts. No need to read Griffith's QM book first. I'm working through Shankar's Principles of Quantum Mechanics…
If you've not been previously exposed to stuff like Lagrangians and Hamiltonians, I'd suggest Taylor's Classical Mechanics text, which is quite friendly.
