…series. Really need to continue, very good. I'd say this was not "oh I know what will happen next" which is kinda rare. 4. The Graveyard Book (Neil Gaiman) - It's ok, but not as good as I had hoped. 5. Coraline (Neil Gaiman) - It's a children's book, and very short, but I liked it a lot. 6. Accelerated C++ (Koening/Moo) - Not finished, I was under the impression it's "C++ for programmers well-versed in other…
Read/watch Coraline by Neil Gaiman if this sort of thing tickles your fancy.
…want more of the guy, he's been writing fiction for a long time. If you like reading graphic novels, read the Sandman series. If you like reading books, read American Gods. If you have kids, read them Coraline.
I really liked Neverwhere, The Graveyard Book, all his short story collections, Coraline...and Stardust is probably in my top 5 favorite movies (so much to where I'm scared to read the book). I'm not a big Sandman fan...it is just so dark.
…I've read most of Jules Verne to her and some Stevenson (Kidnapped was one of her favourites). She also enjoyed the Milnes original Winne the Pooh (I'll never forgive Disney for destroying it), Gaiman's Coraline and Fortunately the milk. The classics like E.B. Whites Charlottes Web and Stuart Little were fun too. We also went through a childrens adaptation of the Arabian Nights hauntingly illustrated by Victor…
想想有多少著名文学作品触犯了 CCA 的限制：《The Lord of the Rings》、《Oliver Twist》、《The Count of Monte Cristo》、荷马的《Odyssey》、《Harry Potter》系列、《Coraline》、《Lord of the Flies》、《The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn》、《To Kill a Mockingbird》。
…in any way. Consider how many famous literary works run afoul of the restrictions in the CCA: The Lord of the Rings, Oliver Twist, The Count of Monte Cristo, Homer's Odyssey, the Harry Potter series, Coraline, Lord of the Flies, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, To Kill a Mockingbird. Many of these books are considered literary classics that young adults are widely encouraged to read. It's good that the…
