- 我刚看了一点 Ananyo Bhattacharya 写的《The Man from the Future》，这是关于……
…book. Background in Physics will be very helpful if you want to read this one. - The Mathematical Experience David, Hersh is a very succinct and pleasant book on the history of Maths. Will recommend. - Alan Turing: The Enigma by Andrew Hodges is a good mathematician's biography. I have not finished it, but fully intend to. - I have just read some of The Man from the Future by Ananyo Bhattyacharya is a biography…
I haven't read Leavitt’s book on Turing, so I can't comment on it. I have read "Alan Turing: The Enigma" by Andrew Hodges, which was excellent, both in the biographical details and the mathematical details.
至于 Andrew Hodges 的《Alan Turing: The Enigma》http://www.amazon.com/Alan-Turing-Enigma-Andrew-Hodges/dp/08...
…Ancient Egypt to Quantum Cryptography" http://www.amazon.com/The-Code-Book-Science-Cryptography/dp/... has a chapter about the Enigma. This book is easy to read as a nice intro to many crypto topics. "Alan Turing: The Enigma" http://www.amazon.com/Alan-Turing-Enigma-Andrew-Hodges/dp/08... , supposedly the best biography of Turing, I enjoyed it. There's quite a bit on his work on the Enigma but not technical.
…format (and are thus easier to decrypt), this error allowed the Bletchley Park people to crack the operations key much more quickly than they otherwise could have. This episode is described in the book Alan Turing: The Enigma[1], which was the basis for "The Imitation Game" film. I highly recommend this book if you're interested in Turing, cryptography, or the early days of computing. While Turing is best known…
