……图灵警察（Turing cops）是瑞士人，《零伯爵》（Count Zero）里有很明显的文化倾向（为了没看过的人就不剧透了），泰希尔-爱希波尔家族（Tessier-Ashpools）是法裔/澳大利亚裔，等等。不过给你提 Cherryh 点个赞。《Cyteen》简直太特么神了。讲真 Cherryh 整体上都很棒，虽然她有些作品极其严肃硬核，有些则算是不错的爆米花消遣。正如其他人评论的那样，硬科幻（hard SF）真的远没有死。
…Turing cops are Swiss, there's the whole cultural slant of Count Zero (not to spoil it for any who haven't read it), the Tessier-Ashpools are French/Australian, etc. Props for mentioning Cherryh, though. Cyteen is frigging fantastic. Indeed, Cherryh in general is fantastic, although some of her stuff is serious business and some of it is (good) fluff. As others have commented, hard SF is so very very not dead.
