And Another Thing... Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

…into a Hitchhikers book was that Mostly Harmless was quite bleak (I seem to remember claims he intentionally ended it the way he did to prevent being badgered about another sequel): I quite enjoyed "And Another Thing..." by Eoin Colfer, written as a sixth book in the HHGTG series. I read it with some trepidation, but enjoyed it. It wasn't quite the same of course, but he managed to match the style surprisingly well,…
…Holistic Detective Agency, and never really managed to get to the end. I was somewhat disappointed cause I had my expectations up to the Hitchhiker's guide. On the subject of the Hitchhiker's guide, I liked "And Another Thing..." the most(though it was largely written by Eoin Colfer.
You should! Make sure you pick up the 6th book by Eoin Colfer (of Artemis Fowl fame), 'And Another Thing...' who's actually done a marvelous of picking up the series where it left off after Douglas Adams' extremely unfortunate passing.
Yes, the fifth book in the increasingly inaccurately-named Hitchhiker's Guide Trilogy. The 'final' was meant as a sly dig at Eoin Colfer's addition to the series, "And Another Thing", which attempted to wrap up the story after Adams' death. I read it shortly after release and didn't give it a fair chance.
…Adams in this thread, I'll mention something I posted a while back, with his writings as example. After Douglas Adams passed away, somebody was tasked to "finish" The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy : > And Another Thing... is the sixth and final novel in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. Written by Eoin Colfer with the blessing of Douglas Adams' widow Jane Belson Being a rather big fan, I immediately bought…
