迈克尔·克莱顿（Michael Crichton）有本挺好玩的小说（后来还拍成了电影），依我看把这种“焦虑”抓得非常准。叫《旭日追凶》（Rising Sun）。
There is a fun Michael Crichton book (and a subsequent movie) that captures the "fretting" quite well IMHO. It's called Rising Sun.
