…and I really don't see what you'r arguing here reflected in the archives. If anyone reading this is interested, btw, the depiction of a fictional Thomas Cromwell's loss of a child in Hilary Mantel's Wolf Hall struck me as incredibly well-observed and accurate. I really loved that part of the book.
希拉里·曼特尔——《Wolf Hall》和《Bring Up The Bodies》。
Hilary Mantel - "Wolf Hall" & "Bring Up The Bodies". Excellent fiction. You're worth it.
- 史蒂文·温伯格的《解释世界》（To Explain The World）。

Actually do the problems! - I reread _Wolf Hall_, by Hilary Mantel, it was as good as I remember. This time through, I also spent some time on the Internet tracing the histories of the major characters before and after the events of the book, and it…
Everything that I know about Thomas Cromwell, I know from Hilary Mantel's excellent book Wolf Hall, and from the sequels.

…but mostly well within the engineer comfort zone (Adams, Gaiman, Tolkien, Asimov, Pratchett, Weir, Sanderson, Rothfuss). If you're feeling like trying something a little different, I'd highly recommend Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel. It's historical fiction set in Tudor England, and follows Oliver Cromwell who is a kind of fixer for Henry VIII. Beautiful language, but Mantel also has an ability to enter into the…
