……陈旧过时的角色或多余细节。删掉《查理和大玻璃升降机》里那个低俗的“王/错号码”（Wong number）烂梗，我们并没有损失什么文学瑰宝。这也不是什么新鲜事了。《查理和巧克力工厂》出版后罗尔德·达尔自己就改版过，因为把奥柏伦柏人写成来自最黑暗非洲腹地的被奴役侏儒，确实挺操蛋的。
…characters or superfluous details that are archaic. We are not loosing a literary gem by dropping the cheap "Wong number" joke from the Great Glass Elevator. It's not like this is some new thing, either. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was edited after publishing by Roald Dahl himself, because having Oompa Loompas be enslaved pygmies from deepest darkest Africa is kinda shitty.
