很有意思。笔记写得真好，多谢！我很喜欢《恶意之酵》（Leaven of Malice），最近读《航运新闻》时又想到了它：两本书都引发了小镇（以及不那么小的小镇）报业出版的共鸣。而且普鲁笔下也是一群同样破碎的人。《弱点杂处》（A Mixture of Frailties）对于任何背井离乡的人来说都是一部佳作……

I liked "Leven of malice" and found myself thinking of it again recently reading "the shipping news": -the resonances of small (and not so small) town newspaper publishing in the two. And Proulx writes of similarly broken people. "A mixture of frailties" is a great read for anyone who has uprooted…
