好多美好的回忆啊……第一次读《异光》，买大开本带大量插画的《埃里克》，大学时期读的女巫系列、凡姆斯与城防卫队系列，还有《死神学徒》（Mort）、《莫里斯》（Maurice）等等等等……然后就是……无尽的惆怅……
So many good memories... reading the Light Fantastic for first time, getting Eric in that big format with many illustrations, the witches, Vimes and the guards during my uni years, Mort, Maurice, and so on and so on... and then... the profound melancholy…

…say they are nice. However if you put them in order, it seems forced to put a story together. I had similar thoughts after reading Pratchett's The Colour of Magic. Though after I started reading The Light Fantastic it fell into place. I would say that those two books should be inseparable. Whatever happens in the first does not make sense until the second book.
