顺便提一句，那位 Google 高管（Berthier Ribeiro-Neto）是《现代信息检索》（Modern Information Retrieval）[1] 的合著者，这本书非常棒，几乎是 IR 领域的标准教材。[1] http://www.amazon.com/Modern-Information-Retrieval-Ricardo-B...
For the record, the Google exec (Berthier Ribeiro-Neto) is the co-author of "Modern Information Retrieval" [1], an excellent book and close to a standard text on IR. [1] http://www.amazon.com/Modern-Information-Retrieval-Ricardo-B...

I actually used this as a supplement to Modern Information Retrieval (http://www.amazon.com/Modern-Information-Retrieval-Concepts-...) for my IR class this semester. I found the Stanford book to be much more detailed in terms of the mathematical formalities behind the…
