另一本是巴德（Bader）写的《Reach for the Sky》。
…real thing? For example, read "Stuka Pilot" by Rudel. It's an account of fighting in WW2 that would be dismissed as ridiculous if it was a Hollywood movie, but it is all real and documented. Another is "Reach for the Sky" by Bader. Chuck Yeager's biography is also a treat. Then watch that absurd "Flyboys" Hollywood fiction. What a piece of trash in comparison.
……Wald 的《With the Old Breed》、Eugene Sledge、理查德·费曼的《Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman》、Walter Nelson 的《Small Wonder》（大众甲壳虫汽车的传奇故事）、David Kushner 的《Masters of Doom》、Paul Brickhill 的《Reach for the Sky》
…Wald "With the Old Breed" Eugene Sledge "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman" Richard Feynman "Small Wonder" Walter Nelson The amazing story of the Volkswagen Beetle. "Masters of Doom" David Kushner "Reach for the Sky" Paul Brickhill
…I'll give different answers, but some are just on top: War of the Worlds, Lord of the Rings, The Mote in God's Eye, Replay, Earth Abides, 20000 Leagues Under The Sea, 2001, Nothing Like It In The World, Reach For The Sky, Winnie The Pooh, The Last of the Mohicans, The Hunt for Red October, With the Old Breed, Surely You're Joking Mr Feynman, Moby Dick, Shogun, Romeo and Juliet I envy anyone reading these for the first…
I have not read the book (Reach for the Sky - 1954) nor watched the movie (Reach for the Sky - 1956) in a very very long time however I recall them fondly from my youth.
