  老实说，能有不同的参考资料以不同的方式来讲解同一套内容还挺不错的。这本、Stevens 的《UNIX网络编程》，再加上 Kerrisk 的《Linux/UNIX系统编程手册》，就是一个学生搞懂 socket 编程所需要的一切了。

  It's honestly kind of nice to have multiple sources treating the same material a different way. This, Stevens' UNIX Network Programming, and Kerrisk's The Linux Programming Interface are all a student should need to get started with socket programming.

I'd also recommend The Linux Programming Interface by Michael Kerrisk as it teaches so much about what makes modern Unix what it is but.. it's arguably quite oriented around C by necessity. It's not a "C book" by any means though.
