  关于编译器理论，推荐《程序分析原理》（Principles of Program Analysis，作者 Nielson、Nielson、Hankin）。它对我们在 rev.ng 所做的工作来说实在太基础太核心了，以至于每个来面试的人我们都会送一本实体书，哪怕面试没过也送。

  For compiler theory, "Principles of Program Analysis" (by Nielson, Nielson, Hankin). It is so foundational to what we do at rev.ng, that we gift a physical copy of the book to every interviewee, even if they don't pass.

  ……永远不可能发生异常，这个检查就会被移除。至于测试“y == 0”这个“简单”例子，其实它本身就已经是不可判定的了。如果你感兴趣，可以去看看 Nielson 的《程序分析原理》，我记得里面专门推导了这个特例（MOP 常量传播的不可判定性）。而且，这本书作为该领域的入门读物也很棒。

If you are interested, you might have a look at Nielson's "Principles of Program Analysis", I think that this particular example (undecidability of MOP Constant Propagation) is worked out there. Also, the book is a nice introduction to the subject.

  …the author page it looks like the OPs book has not been updated so keep in mind that it is the state of the field as of the 80s. The work by Nielson and Nielson is fairly recent.
