我认出那是训令式罗马字,埃莉诺·哈茨·乔登(Eleanor Harz Jorden)那本开创性的日语教材《日语:口语》(Japanese: The Spoken Language)用的就是这种风格。我一直觉得赫本式(黑本式)更契合那本书的目标:用英语母语者易懂的方式来传授日语口语。但我猜乔登是打算配合配套音频……
I recognize Kunrei-shiki as the style used in Eleanor Harz Jorden's seminal Japanese textbook, Japanese: The Spoken Language. I always thought Hepburn style was more appropriate for the goals of that book: to convey spoken Japanese in a way understandable to English speakers. But I think Jorden intended for accompanying audio…
Reminds me of Japanese: The Spoken Language, which is what I used to learn Japanese. It's quite challenging at first but I can't think of a better way for an adult to learn the language well.
坦率地说,换我我不会这么干。但如果你拿枪顶着我的头,我会说去搞一套带 CD 的《日语:口语》,然后疯狂做听力训练直到耳朵起茧子。特别是,一定要练习语言输出(也就是不停地说、说、说,只要发音听起来不像 CD 就继续说,直到像为止,然后再接着练)。……
Candidly, I wouldn't. If you put a gun to my head I'd say find yourself a copy of Japanese the Spoken Language with the CDs and drill them until your ears bleed. In particular, make sure you practice production (i.e. talk, talk, talk, if you don't sound like the CD keep talking until you do, then drill some more).…
…can cherry pick parts of to supplement whatever topics you're covering in your regular course work, or leaf through when you want to refresh your understanding of the grammar. Books like Nakama, Genki, Japanese: the spoken language, etc. are great (although I don't like how many of these books don't use hiragana after the first few weeks), and then having a cheap grammar (this one's free, or $30 at most if you want a copy you can…
……日语。关于这个问题我有独特的视角,因为我在大学里学了几年日语,现在正在用 RtK(Remembering the Kanji)。我上的课程极其偏重日语口语,使用的是耶鲁大学出版社的《日语:口语》系列,它和你提到的 DeFrancis 编写的中文系列采用了非常相似的教学方法(而且也同样有着内容过时的缺点)。虽然它确实……
…Japanese. I have a unique perspective on this issue, as I'm someone who has studied Japanese for a few years in college and is now using RtK. The courses I took focused heavily on spoken Japanese, using the Japanese: The Spoken Language series, which is also from Yale University Press and uses a very similar approach to the Chinese series by DeFrancis you mentioned (and also has the deficiency of being out-of-date). Although it gave…

However some textbooks persist with using it, despite being excellent otherwise (Japanese: The Spoken Language being one). I can't stress enough the need to move off reading Latin characters. It is also useful to learn the characters by sound rather than their roman equivalents. i.e instead of learning that ロ…
