Black Holes & Time Warps: Einstein's Outrageous Legacy

去读读基普·索恩（Kip S. Thorne）的《黑洞与时间弯曲》（Black Holes and Time Warps），整整 624 页全在解释原因。
I'm not smart enough to explain it properly, but basically if information can be transmitted faster than the speed of light, it makes time travel possible. Read "Black Holes and Time Warps" By Kip S. Thorne for a 624 page explanation of why. More likely, it's experimental error. .0025% is meaningless compared to the scale of the earth, but over hundreds of light years it's huge.
I would recommend (as I've done before) Kip Thorn's book _Black Holes and Time Warps_ (https://www.amazon.com/dp/0393312763) to learn more about LIGO.
…contains the same mass but over a bigger volume, then the spacetime curvature it will cause will be less extreme than the black hole in the first box. The book I most like on this topic is Kip Thorne's Black Holes and Time Warps. IMO Thorne is a better explainer than Hawking.
I thought Godel, Escher, Bach to be too hard to read. Instead I recommend Kip Thorne's Black Holes & Time Warps, a great book.
I really liked Kip Thorne's Black Holes & Time Warps. Some overlap with Brief History of Time in content, but much bigger and detailed but still reasonably accessible (I thought).
