Candide by Voltairre , really short drama, funny with a really unique point of view of pestilence. Confessions by Rousseau, superb biography of an amazing life. Zeno's conscience, a psycho analysts novel with a different point of view.
Ever since I read Jean-Jacques Rousseau's Confessions 25 years ago I've had this notion that Chambery would be a great place to live, though I've never been to France. Has anyone reading this been there?

"Confessions" by Jean-Jacques Rousseau were pretty good.
