The Great Brain 指的是十岁的 Tom D. Fitzgerald。

我小时候最喜欢的两本书是《The Real Diary of a Real Boy》和《The Great Brain》。
Two of my favorite books growing up were The Real Diary of a Real Boy and The Great Brain. Both are accounts of a young boy growing up in 19th century, small town America. The Real Diary is about Exeter, NH in the 1840s. The Great Brain is about Utah (and is much better written, I think most…
我会再加上《The Great Brain》[1]系列、任何一本《Tom Swift Jr.》[2]、《The Three Investigators》[3]系列，以及《Encyclopedia Brown》[4]系列。
I'd throw in The Great Brain[1] books, any of the Tom Swift Jr.[2] books, the The Three Investigators[3] books, and the Encyclopedia Brown[4] series. Edit: Remembered a few other suggestions... Pretty much anything by Jules Verne,…
John Fitzgerald（《The Great Brain》的作者）半自传性质的处女作小说。
I also enjoyed (as an adult) Papa Married a Mormon which is John Fitzgerald's (Great Brain author) semi-autobiographical first novel.
它们加上《The Great Brain》《The Three Investigators》《Encyclopedia Brown》故事等等，对我来说都是影响深远的书。
I absolutely loved these books as a kid. I read them over and over again. Those, along with The Great Brain, The Three Investigators, the Encyclopedia Brown stories, etc., were all really influential books for me. I wonder if kids coming up today have anything equivalent?
我想到了几部，贯穿了我童年到高中的整个成长过程：《Mad Scientist's Club》系列、《The Great Brain》、那些《Encyclopedia Brown》故事、《The Three Investigators》系列、儒勒·凡尔纳的《神秘岛》、柯南·道尔的原版“福尔摩斯”正典、Tracy Kidder的《The Soul Of A New Machine》……
A few come to mind, over the course of my childhood up to and including high-school. The "Mad Scientist's Club" series The Great Brain Those "Encyclopedia Brown" stories The "The Three Investigators" series The Mysterious Island by Jules Verne The original Doyle "Sherlock Holmes" canon The Soul Of A New Machine by Tracy Kidder The…
