想深入了解这个话题的朋友，我很喜欢汤普金斯（Thompkins）和伯德（Bird）写的《植物的秘密生活》（The Secret Life Of Plants）https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/99442.The_Secret_Life_of...
For those who would like to read more about this, I enjoyed The Secret Life Of Plants by Thompkins and Bird https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/99442.The_Secret_Life_of...
Ah well, time will tell, I imagine. :-) If you want weird, edge-of-reality stuff that's fun and mostly safe I recommend the book "The Secret Life of Plants" ("Life" not "Lives", that's a different book): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Secret_Life_of_Plants
The book "The Secret Life of Plants" is a very interesting ones and sheds interesting light on many unknown features of plants. But it requires an open mind, not something most acedemics are known for :)
"The Secret Life of Plants" is a great book on this subject.
…allergic to entitlement, and boy, if you want entitlement, look to the Brits at the end of the imperialist era. Ed Catmull -- Creativity, Inc. Read this for work. Enjoyable but ehh. Peter Tompkins -- The Secret Life of Plants (unfinished). I tried but couldn't get past the rampant bad science. Steve Martin -- Born Standing Up. This was a fun profile of a comic that I appreciate; if you're already a fan it's worthwhile, otherwise…
> Peter Tompkins -- The Secret Life of Plants (unfinished). I tried but couldn't get past the rampant bad science. I read this book as well when I was younger (in my "new age" period), and I agree with your opinion.
