……这里有几本在这方面可能有所帮助的书——Adam Brate 的《技术宣言:信息革命者的远见》(Technomanifestos: Visions from the Information Revolutionaries)、Douglas Hofstadter 的《哥德尔、艾舍尔、巴赫:集异璧之大成》(Godel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid)、Manuel De Landa 的《非线性历史一千年》(A Thousand Years of Nonlinear History)、Roy Christopher 编选的《Follow for Now: Interviews with Friends and Heroes》。我还建议读读 Ted Nelson 和 Buckminster Fuller 的著作,以及一些小说……

《图灵大教堂》(Turing's Cathedral)、《机器当中的达尔文》(Darwin Among the Machines)、《技术宣言》(Technomanifestos)、《Possiplex》、《技术想要什么》(What Technology Wants)。还有两本虽然跟计算机无关,但相当有意思的书——《科学革命的结构》(The Structure of Scientific Revolutions)、《非线性历史一千年》(A Thousand Years of Nonlinear History)
Turing's Cathedral Darwin Among the Machines Technomanifestos Possiplex What Technology Wants A couple of not computer related, but quite interesting books- The Structure of Scientific Revolutions A Thousand Years of Nonlinear History

……一开始挺有意思,但一直没真正找到自己的圈子,后来开始在回音室里自说自话,思想也变得贫瘠了。不过,《战争……》(War...)、《集约科学与虚拟哲学》(Intensive Science and Virtual Philosophy)和《非线性历史一千年》(A Thousand Years of Nonlinear History)分别算是一个大有希望的开端、一座令人赞叹的巅峰和一本早期的成熟之作。可惜的是,《哲学与仿真》(Philosophy and Simulation)之后的作品我一本都推荐不出来了。
…interesting in the beginning but didn't quite find or found his community and began talking in an echo chamber that impoverished his thought. Still, "War...", "Intensive science and virtual philosophy" and "A thousand years of nonlinear history" are respectively a very promising start, an impressive peak and an early mature book. Too bad I can't recommend anything from "Philosophy and simulation" forward.
