I just checked the NYPL catalog and found The Turner Diaries, Camp of the Saints and Mein Kampf to be available. Just three examples, but I find it hard to imagine what else they’d refuse to carry if those are fine. Is there a particular book you have in mind…

Some books deserve to be banned. I would put Kevin MacDonald's antisemitic trilogy The Culture of Critique, the Turner Diaries ( which calls for mass extermination of non-white groups in the USA ) and Mein Kampf in the realm of books that should be shunned.

This is a really strange take. There are many books or authors I wouldn't read and can easily dismiss. Like The Turner Diaries by William Luther Pierce. I can easily dismiss that book and its author on the merit that I wouldn't take anything away from it, based on its premise.
