……这么浪费材料的借口。承包商之所以这么干，是因为材料费算在别人头上 :) 就你的情况而言，如果你打算翻修房子并做结构木工，我推荐 Michael Litchfield 的《Renovation 第4版》作为入门书。另外，如果你开始使用更贵的木料，比如做非常高端的细木工活，你就会发现根本没人把料子当一次性用品糟蹋。

Contractors do it because they are charging other people for materials :) In your case, if you are going to be remodeling your house and doing structural carpentry, i'd recommend "Renovation 4th edition" by Michael Litchfield as a starter book. Also if you start doing something with more expensive lumber, like say, very high end woodworking, you will see nobody treats stuff as disposable.
