This has been a godsend for us with a young reader that loves series books (Boxcar Children and the like) and our library closed for in person visits. There are literally hundreds of titles in some of these series, so she can pretty much always find one to read or re-read, even if most of them…
我的一些心头好：- 《没有图画的书》（The Book with No Pictures，B.J.

Novak [yes, that's Ryan from The Office]) - anything by Sandra Boynton - Boxcar Children series - Cam Jansen series - "Ada Twist, Scientist" (Andrea Beaty) We have tons of books, from a variety of sources; some are duds, IMHO, mainly gifts from my MIL (tip for giving books to children: read…
Man, I lived for the Boxcar Children books when I was a kid. We had a few at home, and when I discovered that my library had the whole series, I maxed out my card with 20 or 30 books each week until I'd read them all.
……这里不分难度或心智成熟度先后顺序）：《我爸爸的龙》（My Father’s dragon）系列，谢尔·希尔弗斯坦的《阁楼上的光》（Where the sidewalk ends），《太阳那么大的比萨》（A pizza the size of the Sun），《选择你自己的冒险》（Choose your own adventure）系列，《大脑袋》（The Great Brain），《棚车少年》（Boxcar Children）系列，《内裤队长》（Captain Underpants），罗尔德·达尔的书：《好心眼儿巨人》（The BFG）、《飞天巨桃历险记》（James and the Giant Peach）、《玛蒂尔达》（Matilda）、《蠢特夫妇》（The Twits）、《查理和巧克力工厂》（Charlie and the Chocolate Factory）/《查理和大玻璃升降机》（The Great Glass Elevator，没前一本好看），《山居岁月》（My Side of the Mountain）……

If you've already read Boxcar Children when you're 12, Hardy Boys when you're 14, do you really need to be reading Harry Potter when you're 30?
