若想了解详细讨论,我推荐 Michael D. Gordin 的《The language of science from the fall of Latin to the rise of English - Scientific Babel》。
…especial advantage in literary works but in terms of precise communication it's a winner. For a detailed discussion I recommend 'The language of science from the fall of Latin to the rise of English - Scientific Babel' by Michael D. Gordin. As for very great literature, the English have Shakespeare (sadly unread by you) but you have Dante (sadly unread by me). I mean in the original!
我还想推荐 Michael D. Gordin 写的《Scientific Babel How Science Was Done Before and After Global English》[0]。 [0] https://press.uchicago.edu/ucp/books/book/chicago/S/bo145049...
I'd also recommend "Scientific Babel How Science Was Done Before and After Global English" by Michael D. Gordin [0]. It goes into detail about which languages scientists have used over time. [0] https://press.uchicago.edu/ucp/books/book/chicago/S/bo145049...
