  Describing how evolution works, and why it is completely blind, is not something for the size constraints of a HN comment. I'd recommend books like Dawkin's "The Blind Watchmaker" or "Climbing Mount Improbable", or Dennett's "Darwin's Dangerous Idea" for good, readable descriptions.

  ……抓住书中的核心观点，然后给出一个关于思想的极其笨重、过度延伸的隐喻。所以日常口语中的 meme 也一样糟糕，因为它老是让我想起那个烂透了的最初构想。《攀登不可能的山峰》（Climbing Mount Improbable）还挺不错的，但道金斯后期的作品我实在不敢恭维。《延伸的表现型》（The Extended Phenotype）我觉得晦涩难懂，我都尝试读过好几遍了。至于关于上帝的那些东西……天呐，求求你别再拿你老爹那套大呼小叫了……

  …taking the core idea of the book and providing a cumbersome over-extended metaphor about ideas. So the colloquial meme is just as bad because it constantly reminds me of the original shit-house idea. Climbing Mount Improbable was good, but I can't rate Dawkins' later work. The Extended Phenotype I found impenetrable, and I've tried reading it a few times. The God stuff ... omg, just please stop shouting about your Daddy…

  道金斯写过一篇关于榕树和榕小蜂关系的精彩章节/短文。我记得是在《攀登不可能的山峰》（Climbing Mount Improbable）的结尾。

  Dawkins has an excellent chapter/essay on the fig/wasp relationship. At the end of Climbing Mount Improbable I believe.
