  Network speeds I don't know about, but the book "High Performance Python" comes pretty close to the description of "CSCI 4020: Writing Fast Code in Slow Languages". Check it out!

  不知道算不算，但《High Performance Python》[0]会从底层开始讲起，解释硬件以及它是如何处理你的代码的，然后再以此展开。写得非常棒，是我同事推荐的，我读起来一点障碍都没有……

  Not sure if it counts, but High Performance Python[0] starts you out from the bottom explaining the hardware and how it has to process your code, and they go from there. It's a really good read, was recommended by a coworker and I haven't had issues reading…

  太棒了——以前我 5 岁的孩子要睡觉时，我大声念《High Performance Python》给他听，还得把封面上的那条蛇给遮住。

  That is great -- I had to cover the snake on "High Performance Python" when I would read it out loud for my 5 y.o. as he fell asleep.
