……书，你可能更需要叙事性的读物，而不是“实用型”的书，因为实用类的要求你身边还得有台电脑，得一步步跟着跑样例什么的。像《编程珠玑》（Programming Pearls）、《代码之美》（Beautiful Code）这类书，是在讲关于代码的故事，而不是单纯把代码甩给你（尽管读这两本书时，很多时候最好的做法还是去动手实践一下刚读到的东西）。
…books, you might want narrative texts rather than "practical" books, since the practical ones require you to also have a computer, and work through the examples and such. Books like Programming Pearls, Beautiful Code, etc. tell stories about code, rather than just show you code (though there are probably moments in either book where the best course of action is to try applying what you've read about).
