I just finished reading Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson. It is the third book in the Stormlight Archive series. It was a fantastic read and the entire series is totally epic. Sanderson has many different trilogies, novels, and short stories…
I’m listening to Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson right now, read by them. They are fantastic.
Man's Search for Meaning - Viktor Frankel, it is his experience of how he managed to survive the concentration camps. Book of Mormon The Stormlight Archive series (Way of Kings, Words of Radience, Oathbringer) - Brandon Sanderson, I've heard it compared to the Kingkiller Chronicles in terms of depth, intricacies and overall masterfully executed plot but Sanderson is also one of the best authors at making characters…
I might try to take that approach in the future. Usually when I get bored of whatever book I'm reading I just queue up a video game though. Oathbringer is really great.
I recommend starting with Stormlight, but if you want to fully understand it, you should probably read the first Mistborn book before Rhythm of War and Warbreaker before Oathbringer (Warbreaker is probably my second-favourite Sanderson book, due to its "wholesomeness"). You should also read the novellas as you get through Stormlight, but I believe Dawnshard has far more more plot…
Now that you point it out, I definitely remember the quippy dialogue from Oathbringer. You should give the original Mistborn trilogy a go or the Reckoners series. One of the reasons he's my favorite author is that he 1) pumps out solid books almost yearly and 2) his series are very different…
