我推荐 Norm 的那本《Based on a True Story》。
I'd recommend Norm's book Based on a True Story. It has a similar, dreamlike feel to it and is a confusing and fun read.
我今年没怎么读书，但 Norm Macdonald 的去世对我打击挺大的，所以我买了本他的书《Based On A True Story》。
I didn't read much this year, but Norm Macdonald's death was a bit much for me, so I picked up a copy of his book 'Based On A True Story.' It's not for everyone but if you were a fan, a great read.
几本我确实看进去了的“近作”：《Based on a True Story: (Not) A Memoir》（Norm Macdonald - 2016）- 幽默类；《Deadlines Don’t Care if Janet Doesn’t Like Her Photo》（David Thorne - 2021）- 幽默类（以及 David Thorne 的其他书）；《The Man from the Future: The Visionary…

按这个标准来看，Norm Macdonald 的《Based on a True Story》就是最好的书。
It is challenging to define what's "best" but I used a simple criterion to write this comment: the book I have read the most is the best book for me. With this criterion, Based on a True Story by Norm Macdonald is the best book. Each time I reread it, I find a new nugget! And as a bonus, this book is also available as an audiobook narrated by the author himself.
