Marlow 还写了一本极好的书《Parallel and Concurrent Programming in Haskell》。
…Simon Marlow worked full time on the GHC compiler and specifically run-time system for many years. Along with Simon Peyton-Jones, he's huge in the Haskell world. Marlow also wrote the very excellent "Parallel and Concurrent Programming in Haskell" book. Facebook also employs Bryan O'Sullivan, an epic Haskell library writer (Aeson, Attoparsec, Text, Vector, and on and on http://hackage.haskell.org/user/BryanOSullivan). Bryan also co-authored the…

Simon Marlow 的《Parallel and Concurrent Programming in Haskell》是我很长一段时间以来读过的最棒的一本新编程书。
The multithreading situation in Haskell is pretty exciting. Simon Marlow's Parallel and Concurrent Programming in Haskell is the best new programming book I've picked up in a long time. And there are new developments since he wrote it (http://www.haskellcast.com/episode/004-simon-marlow-on-paral...). It would be a shame…
[2] 之后,想让自己的技术更上一层楼的话,可以看看 Simon Marlow 的《Parallel and Concurrent Programming in Haskell》[3]。 Haskell [4] [5]。[1] http://www.amazon.com/Haskell-Analysis-Cookbook-Nishant-Shuk... …extremely well written; clear, concise, and readable. The author has also put the source code on GitHub for each chapter. [2] Afterwards, to take your skills to the next level, check out Simon Marlow's Parallel and Concurrent Programming in Haskell [3]. Simon now works at Facebook, where they're using Haskell in production [4] [5]. [1] http://www.amazon.com/Haskell-Analysis-Cookbook-Nishant-Shuk... 《Parallel and Concurrent Programming in Haskell》,Simon Marlow 著。
…Kleppmann Provides an overview of a number of topics related to databases, distributed systems, consensus, etc. Lots of references (many of them online) if you like that in a book. Enjoyable to read. Parallel and Concurrent Programming in Haskell by Simon Marlow Probably a must-read if you're into Haskell; probably too esoteric if you're not... Well written. Type-Driven Development with Idris by Edwin Brady Describes a programming language…
我强烈推荐 Simon Marlow 的《Parallel and Concurrent Programming in Haskell》。
…code with more leverage, less effort. Pretend Haskell is as small as APL or Scheme. Ignore those who scoff at your primitive avoidance of an emerging Haskell pattern. I highly recommend Simon Marlow's "Parallel and Concurrent Programming in Haskell". I don't know any language that handles parallel as gracefully, and one can read this book without ever seeing an >=> or <=<.
