Some books I've enjoyed in the past year: Wish to laugh? * Born a Crime, by Trevor Noah * Yes please! by Amy Poehler Think? * Outliers, by Malcolm Gladwell * Where Good Ideas Come from, by Steven Johnson * The Emperor of All Maladies and The Gene: An Intimate History both by Mukherjee Siddhartha…

In actuality, it is the publishers who have a monopoly on each book that they sell. If Amazon (or any other retailer) wants to sell Amy Poehler's new bestseller Yes Please, they can only buy it from HarperCollins. They can set any wholesale price they want, and no other publisher is allowed to offer a competing price for that book.

…Supervillain - Jim Bernheimer《Origins of a D-List Supervillain》- Jim Bernheimer，第二本是第一本的前传。
…Supervillain - Jim Bernheimer Origins of a D-List Supervillain - Jim Bernheimer The second is a prequel of the first. I haven't read the third in the series. Light reading about a guy's descent into villainy. Yes Please - Amy Poehler: I love memoirs. I just didn't love this one. It read a lot like Leslie Knope was the author, but there was an obscene amount of name dropping that kept interrupting the flow of the book…
