Herlihy 和 Shavit 合著的一本教材《The Art of Multiprocessor Programming》详细讨论了这些内容。
…counters. For work queues you can solve it by giving each processor its own work queue and having it steal work from other processors when it finishes its own queue. A textbook by Herlihy and Shavit, The Art of Multiprocessor Programming, discusses this stuff in detail.
…For a super primer see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-blocking_algorithm and if you are really interested, read about Transactional memory - http://dl.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=165164, and then "The Art of Multiprocessor Programming" (it is a text book) by Herlihy and Shavit.
如果你想更深入地研究这个课题,我强烈推荐 Herlihy 和 Shavit 写的《The Art of Multiprocessor Programming》。
If you want to study the subject in more depth, I cannot recommand enough "The Art of Multiprocessor Programming" by Herlihy and Shavit. It has a nice theoretical part, followed by more practical applications. I also enjoyed "The Art of Concurrency" for a antagonist approach to a close domain. It may be more accessible.
《Peopleware》http://www.amazon.com/Peopleware-Productive-Projects-Second-...
"Peopleware" http://www.amazon.com/Peopleware-Productive-Projects-Second-... , a lot of insights and ideas how to build great teams. Great to read for developers, team leads and managers. "The art of multiprocessor programming", excellent book on parallel programming theory with code explanations: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0123705916?ie=UTF8&tag=nirs...
我曾经读过一本很棒的书,《The Art of Multiprocessor Programming》[0]。
Once I've read an excellent book, The Art of Multiprocessor Programming [0]. All examples in the book are in Java. After reading it, when thinking about some of the solutions and algorithms presented, I quickly concluded that deploying them in C/C++ would be an order of magnitude…
[1] http://t-machine.org/index.php/2007/09/03/entity-systems-are...…
…synchronisation less painful. Same goes for atomic data structures. - Entity Systems[1] are actually surprisingly suited for multicore programming, IMHO I would suggest everybody to pick up the book The Art of Multiprocessor Programming[2] and get an introduction to the basic concepts. After that it depends on what you want to do, but if you're a C++ programmer, I would suggest the intel threading building blocks book[3].
