The original is definitely worth a read - the summary might let you see why it's worth the effort ;-)

For example, Domain Driven Design Quickly: https://www.infoq.com/minibooks/domain-driven-design-quickly... It has been a while since I have read it, so it may be dated, but hopefully others can provide suggestions too!
