Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore》。
I'll give a casual read that became one of my favorite books: Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan It's got some tech aspects to it since the main character is starting to get into using programming to investigate a mystery and that bit definitely feels motivating. We all have a bunch…
Penumbra's 24 Hour Bookstore》。
…references for their own sake is particularly clever. But if you like that kind of joke and you like the show, that's great. It's not something I would judge you as a person for. Heck, I'd be happy to suggest Mr. Penumbra's 24 Hour Bookstore, if you haven't read it already.
Dave Eggers 写的《The Circle》（圆环）。险胜 Robin Sloan 的《Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore》。
"The Circle", by Dave Eggers. Narrowly edging "Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore" by Robin Sloan. I've been in tech a long time. I came up in the early 90's when the Internet was a tool for collaboration, meeting new people, and taking down the evil bastards. But since the advent…
《Mr Penumbra's 24 hour bookstore》- Robin Sloan（历史、悬疑、幽默与科技的绝妙融合）；《The Cuckoo's Egg》- Clifford Stoll（确实如大家一直说的那样精彩 ;-) ）；《Winnie the Pooh》- A.A.
"Mr Penumbra's 24 hour bookstore" - Robin Sloan (a brilliant mix of history, mystery, humour and technology) "The Cuckoo's Egg" - Clifford Stoll (it really is as good as they always say ;-) ) "Winnie the Pooh" - A.A. Milne (delightful,…
Seems like most of the discussion here is focused on everyone's own experience with this, but can I just recommend Robin Sloan as a human in general for folks to follow in their lives? His 2 novels, "Mr. Penumbra's 24 Hour Bookstore" and "Sourdough", are both really engaging reads. His 3rd novel is in progress and it seems like it's going to be more of the same quality. He also has a couple of novellas and a bunch of great short…
