Zachary 的《Show Stopper!: The Breakneck Race to Create Windows NT and the Next Generation at Microsoft》[2]、Karin Carter 的《Microsoft in the Mirror》[3]，但我同意那个……
Three I'm familiar with, all recommended: 'Gates', Stephen Manes [1] 'Show Stopper!: The Breakneck Race to Create Windows NT and the Next Generation at Microsoft', G.P. Zachary [2] 'Microsoft in the Mirror', Karin Carter [3] But I agree with the…
……《名利场》（Vanity Fair）、《我们现在的生活方式》（The Way We Live Now），还有伍德豪斯（Wodehouse）的作品。 科学类，Gary Zukav 的《物理之舞：新物理学概述》（Dancing Wu Li Masters: An Overview of the New Physics），以及 Fritjof Capra 写的《物理学之“道”》（The Tao of Physics），讲的是现实那难以承受的捉摸不定。……
…Fair, The Way We Live Now, and Wodehouse. Biography Buffett: The Making of an American Capitalist, by Roger Lowenstein. An insightful biography of the greatest living investor, or maybe of all time. Gates, by Manes and Andrews, is also very good. Science Dancing Wu Li Masters: An Overview of the New Physics, by Gary Zukav, and The Tao of Physics, by Fritjof Capra, on the unbearable elusiveness of reality.…
Gates by Stephen Manes and Paul Andrews is a much better book. Bigger, better researched, better written, and a lot more accurate. (Paul Andrews worked for the Seattle Times and Microsoft was his beat. I guess…

I've not read 'Hard Drive', but I've re-read 'Gates' by Manes and Andrews, and can recommend it.
我推荐这三本：James Wallace 的《Hard Drive》（1993）、Stephen Manes 的《Gates》（1992）、Paul Allen 的《Idea Man》（2011）。
