It's a pity there's no "in popular culture" or what-not section here. It shows up notably in book #3 of Charles Stross's The Laundry Files: The Fuller Memorandum and is quite a fun little sight in this ever delightful series mixing the occult & geek culture. Hopefully there's many other good references too.
