…can modify that behavior if they want to without having to patch too much - maybe someone can comment on subclassing models.Model while not having Django consider it a model (I think I got it from the Pro Django book if someone has it available). EDIT2: modified the code to make sure that force_insert and force_update couldn't both be True.
…freely write notes and stick the little colorful things on them to highlight a page. I made a list of books but I noticed that there are few books about frameworks in my list. Like Spring In Action or Pro Django. My question is, does it make sense buying books about frameworks or getting more high level books like The Clean Code, Design Patterns or maybe both?
http://www.amazon.com/Pro-Django-Development-Done-Right/dp/1590597257 The book is coming in a month. One big reason why there aren't a lot of Django books out there is because instead of trying to make money off of books, they focused…

I can read 2 Scoops of Django and Pro Django and I'm starting to understand what they're saying. I can code in Python fluently. Good/bad, all subjective. I can build things and I'm happy. Its not a one time thing. I'm on IRC a few times a week…

……如果需要的话可以自己修改这种行为,不用到处打 patch——或许有人能指点一下如何在继承 models.Model 的同时不让 Django 把它当成 model(我记得我是从《Pro Django》那本书里看到的,如果手头有这本书的朋友可以翻翻)。第二次修改补充:修改了代码,确保 force_insert 和 force_update 不会同时为 True。
