……《Morag》（非常温柔可爱的小故事）、Dick King Smith、Alexander McCall-Smith 有几部很棒的平静有趣的小朋友小说（比如《The Perfect Hamburger》）、《Treasures of the Snow》、《Paddington》、E. Nesbit、《The Princess and Curdie》等等、《The Secret Garden》、《Dogger》、《The Story of Ping》（读完之后去翻翻亚马逊的评论）、《Politically Correct Bedtime Stories》……我和我妻子现在正在（第二次）通读……

……《Phantastes》或者《The Princess and the Goblin》，才能体会到他到底有多么深地受惠于他。讲真，我确实试着读过《The Princess and the Goblin》。我想我是读完了的。它还有部续集《The Princess and Curdie》。我试着去读了，但没读下去。这些不是我会推荐的书。不过我确实挺喜欢那部动画电影的。
…‘Phantastes’ or ‘The Princess and the Goblin’ to appreciate just how freaking much he is indebted to him You know, I did try to read The Princess and the Goblin. I think I got through it. There is a sequel, The Princess and Curdie. I tried, but failed, to read that. They aren't books I would recommend. I do like the animated film.
