绝对双手赞成推荐《莉莉丝的孩子们》，我也觉得它极其感人。我是因为她（早得多的时候写的）短篇《血孩子》（Bloodchild）极具震撼力才买的这本，读完《血孩子》后，我整整回味琢磨了好几个星期。
Definitely second the recommendation of Lilith's Brood, I also found it very moving. I bought it based upon the strength of her (much) earlier short story Bloodchild which I found myself thinking about for weeks after I'd read it.

…books to be read. But, that's an incredibly detailed list and more than enough to last. I will highly recommend 2 books though. Anathem, Neil Stephenson. Have read this book at least a dozen times now. Lilith's Brood, Octavia Butler. This is one of only 2-3 books in my life that made me physically uncomfortable at times.
