“对世界第二高峰 K2 登山史上最惨烈灾难的生动记录”——

Hacker News

我刚重读完《No Way Down》,又接着重读《Into Thin Air》(进入空气稀薄地带),两本都是神作。要是想看夏尔巴人的视角,我推荐《Buried in the Sky》和《Higher than Everest》,不过这两本更偏传记类,而不是灾难…

Fun coincidence! I just finished rereading No Way Down and started rereading Into Thin Air both of which are great books. For the sherpa’s perspective I can recommend Buried in the Sky and Higher than Everest, although they’re more biographical than disaster…

如果你喜欢这类书,Graham Bowley 写的《No Way Down: Life and Death on K2》也绝对值得一读。

"Into thin air" by Jon Krakauer. A really fascinating book about the disaster on Mount Everest in 1996 where 8 people died on a single day due to extreme weather. If you are into that kind of books "No Way Down: Life and Death on K2" by Graham Bowley is also worth a read.

过去一两个月读了《Into Thin Air》、《The Climb》、《Dark Summit》,目前在读《No Way Down》,还从图书馆借了《Annapurna: The first conquest of a 8000m peak》和《The Will to Climb》。

A progression of books on high altitude climbing. Have read Into thin air, the climb, dark summit in the past month or two, currently reading no way down and have Annapurna: The first conquest of a 8000m peak and The will to climb out from the library. Reason, finally have the motivation to loose weight and get fit, and am planing to do some climbing…
