Not the OP but I'd highly recommend "Zoo City" by Lauren Beukes. Brilliantly written, gritty, bonkers-but pulsating plot set in a grimy version of Johannesburg. Loved it.
试试 Greg Egan 的《Permutation City》；Bruce Sterling 的《Heavy Weather》、《Islands in the Net》或《Holy Fire》。 ;-)
…have not aged terribly well. I still like them, but they're from a certain context. Try Greg Egan's Permutation City; Bruce Sterling's Heavy Weather, Islands in the Net, or Holy Fire. Lauren Beukes, Zoo City. There are so, so many ... ;-)
书目也很棒，《Old Man's War》、《Pump Six》和《Zoo City》都是我最近读过的好书。
Fantastic extension of the Humble Bundle concept. Good titles too, Old Man's War, Pump Six and Zoo City are all great books I've read recently.
以下这些我还没读过：Cory Doctorow 的《Pirate Cinema》，Lauren Beukes 的《Zoo City》，Mercedes Lackey 的《Invasion》，Kelly Link 的《Stranger Things Happen》和《Magic for Beginners》。
…don't care for McKean's artwork. It took me a while of looking at the preview to realize I'd already read Signal-to-Noise. Forgettable. I haven't read: Cory Doctorow: Pirate Cinema Lauren Beukes: Zoo City Mercedes Lackey: Invasion Kelly Link: Stranger Things Happen Kelly Link: Magic for Beginners Although I own the Kelly Link books. Never got around to them. My wife liked Magic for Beginners.
