我不会把《头号玩家》（Ready Player One）算作 2012 年最好的书，但确实读得很爽（我是 2011 年读的）。在同类作品里我更喜欢《这不是游戏》（This Is Not A Game）和《模式识别》（Pattern Recognition）；Tad Williams 的《异域》（Otherland）系列也很值得一看。
I wouldn't class Ready Player One as the best book of 2012, but it was certainly enjoyable (when I read it in 2011). I prefer This Is Not A Game and Pattern Recognition in this genre; also worth checking out is Tad Williams' Otherland series.
还有 Walter Jon Williams 写的《这不是游戏》（This is not a Game）。主角就是设计这类游戏的。然后既然是小说嘛，理所当然地卷入了真实事件中。我很喜欢这本，而且续作也马上要出了。
Also "This is not a Game" by Walter Jon Williams. The main character designs games like this. Then since it's fiction winds up involved in the real thing, of course. I liked it, and there's a sequel coming out soon too.
