《The Evolution of Useful Things》、《The Pencil: A History of Design and Circumstance》和《To Engineer is Human》都论证了这样一个观点:我们周围物品的设计,与其说是源于顿悟,不如说是源于演化,是在过去的错误之上逐步迭代建立起来的。如果《The Design of Everyday Things》有一半……
I've never read this book but of course now I have to. I'll suggest reading Henry Petroski's stuff, too. "The Evolution of Useful Things", "The Pencil: A History of Design and Circumstance", and "To Engineer is Human" all make the case that the design of things around us are shaped less by insight and more by evolution, incrementally building on the mistakes of the past. If "The Design of Everyday Things" is half…
