章节标题涵盖Unpopularity、Not Having Enough Money、Frustration、Inadequacy、Broken Heart以及Difficulties。

[1] 作为入门,我会推荐像 Jules Evans 的《生活的哲学》(Philosophy For Life (And Other Dangerous Situations))或者阿兰·德波顿(Alain De Botton)的《哲学的慰藉》(Consolations of Philosophy)这类的书。
…reasons why those writers are still the foundation for philosophy today - they were right. [1] I would recommend something like "Philosophy For Life (And Other Dangerous Situations)" by Jules Evans or "Consolations of Philosophy" by Alain De Botton as a starting point.
改变人生的:《我们为什么要睡觉》(Why We Sleep)让人欲罢不能的:《改变你的心智》(How to Change Your Mind)最实用的:《哲学的慰藉》(The Consolations of Philosophy)关于创业的:《挑衅者:硅谷的成年礼》(Troublemakers: Silicon Valley's Coming of Age)冷门但惊艳的:《盲降深度》(Shadow Divers,深海潜水的真实故事——可以参考《进入空气稀薄地带》)
I read over 40 nonfiction books this year. Here are some favorites. Life-changing: Why We Sleep Page-turner: How to Change Your Mind Most useful: The Consolations of Philosophy On startups: Troublemakers: Silicon Valley's Coming of Age Random but amazing: Shadow Divers (true story about deep sea diving - think Into Thin Air)
…wants from life than to just better one's craft. Of course if that is what you want in life, then indeed pursuing that makes sense. I'm also tempted to recommend "Siddhartha" by Herman Hesse and "The Consolations of Philosophy" by Alain de Botton.
…It's like Alice in Wonderland in that it gets better with age and experience. Accelerando (Charles Stross -- our HN buddy) Mainly to remind myself how fucking awesome British sci-fi can be. It is. The Consolations of Philosophy (Alain de Botton) I'm a mathematician who should have studied philosophy. Alain writes superbly insightful, unpretentious, and accessible books on philosophy. 我真心推荐读读莎拉·贝克韦尔的《如何生活:蒙田的一生》(How to Live: A Life of Montaigne)、达赖喇嘛的《幸福的艺术:生活指南》(The Art of Happiness: A Handbook for Living),以及阿兰·德波顿的《哲学的慰藉》。
I would really recommend reading "How to Live: A Life of Montaigne" by Sarah Bakewell, "The Art of Happiness: A Handbook for Living" by the Dalai Lama, and "The Consolations of Philosophy" by Alain De Botton. They're not about being a "powerful man." All three are about the philosophy of leading a life that makes you happy without compromising the way you live in order to fit in with…
